Credentialling or Advanced certification is an evaluation of a nurse’s experience, educational preparation, and ongoing professional development against a set of established standards.

The decision to participate in the DANA Pathways to Credentialling and Advanced Certification Programs is entirely voluntary. The program is open to DANA members and non-members, however there is a pricing differential.

DANA encourages experienced Drug and Alcohol or Addiction Nurses to apply for Credentialling and Advanced Certification. There are many pathways that you can take to achieve a Credential or Advanced Certification.

For non-members the fee is $300. Payment is required at the time of application.
